“Many, many thanks for coming yesterday as our Guest at The Concert at Holmfirth Methodist Church. I know you had been unwell all last week so I and the Choir are very grateful to you.

It was such a pleasure to watch and listen to you. The Harp is such a beautiful instrument and it was so lovely to appreciate it as an individual instrument. I, personally, found the music very emotional, moving and soothing and just stood with a smile on my face watching and listening to you. Your questions and answers slot also proved to be a good idea and promoted lots of interest and involvement from the audience, which I always think is good. I, for one, never knew that the Harp had pedals ! I though it was all strings.

I think you added greatly to the success of our Concert yesterday. There was great feed back from the audience. The Choir thoroughly enjoyed singing with you. In fact, I think you helped us greatly with This Little Babe ! I will get those words right one day!

“We returned from our honeymoon last week! Thank you AGAIN for your beautiful playing at our wedding - we got so many compliments on it. In particular one of the compliments that we got was that the volume / acoustics were just PERFECT - loud enough to be entertaining and appreciated, but quiet enough during the breakfast that people could still talk. So much more personal than just recorded music or silence! And I really loved the choice of music that you played - It was just overall magical - we are so grateful! We will never forget it :)

“It’s hard to know where to begin! If our wedding was the best day of our lives, you and your playing were the fairy dust that made it truly magical. And everyone was talking about your playing..!

Although I missed some of the pre-ceremony playing, I heard all about it from various guests. You had clearly read the room very well and some of our video-game and film enthusiasts commented on the nerdy easter eggs you’d played for the occasion. I did hear the Zelda while my MUA was trying to force me into my dress, and I knew how excited some of our audience would be to hear it..! As for Concerning Hobbits – WOW. Your exceptional playing was no surprise to me as I have been listening to you play for years, but as I say, so many people commented on your playing and how special it was. I am sure many people have said this to you before, but it seems to me that you don’t simply play music. You feel it – you bring out all of the nuances, expressions, emotion. That was really clear talking to our guests.
